Description This is my #Musical-fans Secret Santa for ~babbelingholbrook , who wished for a picture with The Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening and Les MisΓ©rables.

I haven't, of course, seen The Book of Mormon, but I love the CD, so that was a fun request. And Les Mis... I eat and breathe that show, basically, so no problem there either.
Spring Awakening, then... I remember liking the musical quite a lot when I first saw it, but, along time, my interest has faded. I can't really relate to anything there, and I think it's trying a little too hard to be shocking... I enjoy some of the songs, though. I admit I ignored it a bit here, but Wendla's about the only character I remember...

So! From left to right: Elders Price and Cunningham, Cosette (in her Γ…ST dress), Marius, Enjolras, Wendla, and up there, Nabulungi.
The title refers to my last year's holiday pic, Decorating . This is a bit of a sequel - you see Angel's tree decorations reappear. So do Enjolras's flag ornaments, but, this time, he has got a little more international...
Most decoration characters and flags have something to do with the musicals I've seen this year.

None of the musicals featured are mine.

The woman on the ladder is Nabulungi from Book of Mormon - you haven't seen/listened to that? I recommend, it's the funniest cast recording I've ever listened to!

Ha, well, it's pretty easy to fake holiday spirit. I don't really like Christmas that much, either. Or, rather, I like the fun and cosy idea of Christmas, but my hols never match up with the ideal gingerbread-and-fireplace dream holidays, so yeah. I'm not really a holiday person, either. Eh.

(Also, I must say: for a second or two after seeing this picture, I sort of thought that the pattern on Enj's vest was gingerbread men. Ahem.)

I don't think I even have an ideal Christmas. It probably was magical back when I was a kid, but that's vanished now, the last couple of Christmases haven't been that much fun. But maybe sometimes later again!

I should've made them gingerbread men, I suppose, would've fit the theme of the picture... But no, it's just the lazy version of Enjy's Γ…ST vest I use as his standard costume nowadays.

I really do, but I like pretty much everything you draw! I just don't always comment But when I recognized Wendla (which didn't take more than half a second! You drew her very well.) I felt like I had to!

Why don't you make a crossover with Les Mis and Spring Awakening? Eponine and Wendla are my favorite characters, but I can't really draw them I tried once but totally failed ^^' I bet you could do a lot better

I've a bit of trouble with including Spring Awakening because I'm not very familiar with it. I've seen it once, and while I thought it was nice, it didn't leave such an lasting impression... This picture is an expection because it was for the Musical-fans Secret Santa.
But usually, to make fun of something, I need to know that something inside out first... Which is why I do so much Les Mis art!

SpAw is my favorite musical^^ I do know it REALLY well and still can't draw it But I can see that you know Les Mis very well I love it too, but I honestly know everything there is to know about Spring Awakening by heart I guess and I'm lucky enough to have been to the place where the original German play has been written. It's so sad, but so great *-* (Sorry if I'm annoying you )
