Have you ever thought about what keeps Erik's mask in it's place?Me and my pal ~EntirelyInsane have.
I mentioned that when I did my Phantom cosplay I kept the mask in place with duct tape. She told me I should put that into a picture - so the credit for the creation of this pic goes to her, actually, and so this pic is dedicated to her!

There's a bit of thin cord, like fishing line, that secures it around the back of the head. That's why the mask is always lifted upwards in the same way in each unmasking. It has to be lifted over the head.
