Despite all the non-Enjolras related art lately, I haven't forgotten him. How could I?This is inspired by Samuel Harjanne's performance during the derniere of Tampereen Teatteri's recent production of Les Mis. He was, well... Full of revolutionary fervor, I suppose. It was a small wonder he didn't grow wings and/or a rocket pack and shoot through the ceiling, powered by the glory of the republic. His Enjolras was absolutely insane – and yet I loved the performance. If anyone else, or even Samuel himself during any other performance, would have tried to do what he did here, I would've hated it. But here... I'm beyond glad I got to witness this performance. The first act made me smile so widely my face started twitching.
He really lifted Gavroche up at one point and all.
(It was an amazing performance in other ways too – for example for the last night jokes. Most notably: when Valjean let Javert go and shot in the air, a squirrel fell from the ceiling.)

There are so many things I love about this, I can't decide between the menacing knife in Enjolras hand (I belive I've never seen an Enjolras holding a knife

It was indeed a bit of a surprise to see Enjolras with a knife in the two recent Finnish productions – especially seeing he had it during ABC Café, for blood oath related purposes... They even had this somewhat unfortunate promo photo of one of our Enjolrati with the knife: i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb… – join the glorious revolution or I will STAB YOU IN YOUR SLEEP, much?

Yes I can imagine this during Red and Black... everybody starting to talk about Marius romance, and suddenly Enjolras appearing with the knife "EXCUSE ME do I hear talking about OTHER things that are NOT the revolution?"

Insanely patriotic Enjolras is the best Enjolras. Great job on this, it's hilarious and Gavroche's face is just priceless!
