When I used to play World of Warcraft, I would have liked an official Nexus Whelpling plush as the Azure Drake mount (its grown-up form) was my favourite mount. Unfortunatly, the plush was exclusive to a Comic Con and costs a lot when it shows up on ebay. I recently decided to try making my own with needlefelting. Compared to the other dragon models I made, this was easy to make.

I think I made it pretty much like the plush. I added some pads to the feet and made the nostrils more 3D. The wings have wires and are possable. I might make a Nightmare Whelpling next or maybe one based on a Netherwing Drake.
