less fanart - more original art!a stamp for all the people who want to see more original characters/comics/stories, ect. drawing fanart every now and then is fine, but people should post more of their own ideas and concepts on DA!
SUPPORT ORIGINALITY, use the stamp, fav the stamp, spread the word!

I don't post much or original art on DA because 1) I really like drawing Mike Shinoda and 2) not many publishing companies will consider publishing a manuscript already posted on the Internet.
Heck, most of my original art was drawn when I thought I knew how to draw realistically (it looks terrible). Even then, I usually drew Amy Lee, and I didn't draw her well.

I support this idea fully, I like FanArt, but I like to see someone imagination take square and up to life. As an artist we can do much more than drawing what has been drawn all the time.

Free users can't use stamps :s
But we can use icons and some ppl make what they call "PLZ Stamps", wich are two separate icons that are two halves of the stamp.

true!! that's why i think, somebody is already drawing pictures and stories with them, and nobody knows these characters more than their creators. so drawing fanart every now and then can of course be fun, but it is a bit unecessary, if those pics are only traces...

I do alot of OC's and alot of them don't get alot of love and it saddens me. I mean I like doing fan art too but orginal characters are from the heart.

Most of my work in my gallery are original characters. I dislike fanart IN VERY LARGE DOSES, cause that's being stupid, IMO. I've seen many galleries full of fanart and it makes all icky..
But people, or FANGIRLS, tend to prefer fanart and stuff. I've seen many talented artists with original work and they don't get much attention!
