Best character. No arguing, because it's my opinion. She isn't perfect, but she's a person with problems like everyone else. I drew her in my favorite of her outfits and not her original, because I can. She's my favorite because she's got a beautiful design and immense powers, as well as being a character struggling with her emotions. I first got up to her episodes when she was my age, so her struggles with her emotions really connects with me. And after breaking up with Finn, she's still a good character, maybe even better for it. While I do think that Flame Princess and Finn would make a good couple and they should reconcile, Finn has to grow up a whole lot before they can try again. Maybe after puberty wears down. Either way, after breaking up with him, she now is a leader of the Fire Kingdom and for all her problems, she's doing a damn fine job with it. She's 15 and she's already running a kingdom like a mature and responsible leader, and that is awesome. She kicks ass.
Flame Princess was Finn's girlfriend and technically not actually a princess anymore. After she usurped her father, she took his name as the rightful ruler; Flame King. Bow down to the king, baby. Don't call her Flame Princess when she's running her kingdom, but right now in this drawing, she is. Now if only her subjects and family would actually address her as such.....
Flame Princess was born with immense and volatile power, and it was foretold that she would be more powerful than even her father would be. Hearing this, her father ordered his messenger to throw her away and let her "wander into the outside world to perish." She was left in a forest near the Candy Kingdom, burning down the entire forest, Princess Bubblegum discovered her in the burning remnants of the forest path. She returned Flame Princess to her father and insisted that he keep her under control, or she herself would. Eventually PB came to an agreement, locking the poor girl away in a lantern for life, so she could never usurp her father. She was released from her lamp to marry 'Prince Finn', who was really Jake in disguise, trying to find Finn someone to love. While Jake rejects Flame Princess once he realizes that she is, as her father insists 'evil', Finn falls in love with her when he saves her life.... and slapping him, leaving a burn on him that made him realize his crush. They had a confusing relationship, both of them being emotionally unsure 14 year old teenagers, they made some mistakes, mostly on Finn's part. After an event with Finn's dreams (and puberty), they have broken up, but both have some feelings left for each other, Finn more so than her. She has overthrown her father with the help of Cinnamon Bun, and is now rightfully the Flame King.
