To be clear yes that is a human. Despite popular belief I do draw and paint them occasionally.
I am so glad to be working on art again. I love summer, I only have to worry about work taking up my time.
They are not specific characters from the dragonriders of pern books. The dragon was actually a sketch for something else, I realized it looked kinda pernish and continued the thought.Β
Thinking on it, I suppose the dragon would be Peroth and the rider Mβson(Mason).

Yup. I'm guessing this was in the gap years between when the weyrs went forward and after they lost the calculations for fall patterns. He ha a bit of score on his wings so that likely isn't helping any in maintaining flight.
