A little fanart piece of zarla 's "Handplates" Undertale comic. It's really good, I highly recommend reading it!I tried to replicate her drawing style to keep the essence of the comic.
After the most recent update to the comic (as of this post), I think that Sans doesn't really know what to think of Gaster. Thus his slightly confused expression.

Oh, to be honest, I somehow thought Sans' expression was smug satisfaction, sort of like --> " >: 3 "
It's a nice picture though. I always somehow like the sharp defined style of cel shaded drawings, and I think you did an especially good job with Gaster in this. There isn't a whole lot of fan art out there where you can see his normal head, and equally as few where a more vulnerable side of him is represented. There's nothing wrong with the fan drawings where he's shown as sinister and intimidating, but you see a lot of those, and I like to see drawings of his more vulnerable side as well, maybe even more so, haha. Gaster looks uncertain and uneasy here, even afraid (pretty much me when presented with the possibility of any kind of relationship with someone outside the family, pfft). All in all, a simple but sweet and feelsey piece.

Wow thanks for the positive critique! I, also, enjoy the more vulnerable side of Gaster. It's a side we don't normally see, so I enjoyed showing that he's not all mean, and that he does still have a good side. We just need Pap's help to bring it out. Again, thank you for the great comment!
