OkAY so you guys really seemed to like my little desktop buddy Gaster I did yesterday , I decided to post these little doodles! I didn't plan on posting them, since I wasn't expecting that much attention on that post, BUT HERE WE ARE!in regards to the mini-comic at the end, i think gaster would probably actually take the soul and run for it. but then I realized i wouldn’t be able to post the picture if im dead. so ye *cough*
Seems like he never expected a human to want to save him...;v;
or maybe he's worried that he'll hurt the soul

Yes... Most of all I want to offer him HOPE. ^^ I had a fan-fic concept featuring Handplates, but I've never drawn / written it up. [characters aren't my strong suit and I'm not as skilled with my digital-arting as I want to be

I'm guessing you've never mistreated him. But if you're curious about what it looks like and don't want to (understandably) do it to your own ghost, someone made a demo video of it not too long ago. It's kind of sad really.

Hee, so I'm not the only one who wondered about the soul thing. Though I doubt it exists, it would be interesting if there was that option. Obviously, he can't take the soul but it would be interesting what he would say depending on the relationship.

I've never encountered an option like that, but I agree that it would be very, very interesting to hear would he would say if you offered to set him free.
If he had a low/bad relationship with you, he would most likely brush off and scoff at the idea.
If you had a good relationship with him he'd probably do what he does in the comic: look baffled, perhaps touched, but still refuse to take it. Not because he wants to look nice, though.
