Description
I've always had a great interest in digital painting and art making. Even though by attending art school I nurtured and developed a love for traditional art making, I can't deny my desire, love and interest towards digital art.The problem I've had with digital art is that I never seem to finish anything. There is always more to do. Without any real limits or physical restrictions, I feel like the work is never truly finished. I can keep going forever and keep fixing, adjusting and trying to improve it!
So I have come up with a way to work on this skill. The way I have decided to do and actually finish some works is to do some master studies digitally. I feel and can see that it is a long and steep road for mastery, but we have to start somewhere. With that note, here is my work for today!
I see a lot of problems with this painting already, although I am not unhappy with the result. My use of color can use a lot of work for starters... I tend to lean towards more vivid colors and since it is not a conscious choice, it is a problem.
There is a speed painting video available for this, as it was created in procreate. I will be trying to share that in the near future.
Please feel free to share your thoughts, opinion or any criticisms you might have. I want to improve, so I will be happy with any feedback that you would be so kind to share.
Thank you!

Excellent work.
I imagine the direction of light & shadow gets tricky with that folded cloth.

Thank you, you are very kind! Indeed the cloth was difficult do, I suppose if I had paid a bit more attention to the direction of light, it would have helped more
