I've seen a color photo from the early 80s, before it started to fall apart. There were colored lights behind all of the plaster lacework, quite stunning.

After MCS, this was the first abandoned building I ever went to. You can see why I got hooked, haha.

This place is among the most beautiful I have seen. It is much darker than it appears in the photo, everything cast in a dim blue light. Half expected Batman to come flying in. Anyho, it was good to get back in there.
