Description
With GotP on hiatus (NOT quitting, just putting it on the backburner), I desperately need another project to throw myself into that doesn't make me want to cry every time I try to work on it. So I'm recycling the concept of Le Bel Hiver and turning it into a nuzlocke comic because I love nuzlockes and I love X/Y and I love all the characters so I'm excited and inspired and don't want to die when I think about working on it lol.

Normally I'd just post things like this to tumblr but it also occurred to me that I never mentioned what I was planning on dA sO now ya know I guess ahaha.

Hell yeah time for some nuz refs. These gals feature just after AZ was dethroned, on the dawn of the first Kalosian civil war.
Alix of Trinité was a knight of the order of the Kalosian king, who could wield mega-evolution with Malédiction, her houndoom. She was a leader in the rebellion against AZ after the ultimate weapon was fired, and served under the new king until her death.

Pernelle of Paradeaux was a young squire who was part of a company of knights sent to retrieve and protect AZ from members of the rebellion. She was mentioned rarely in ancient texts, so her fate is largely unknown.
Also some random info on the region banners: 3000 years ago, the country’s capital was the king’s city of Trinity, which is now present-day Geosenge. Its flag depicted the ultimate weapon (the design is based off of Brittany’s flag IRL): before it was used it was seen as a symbol of beauty, national strength, and pride. After its use, it was a mark of rebellion to fly a partially burned or torn flag until a new one was established.
Paradeaux was a city near present-day Ambrette, which allied strongly with AZ, and rejected the new king. Its flag depicted a pyroar, which was a symbol of strength and loyalty (the design is based off of Aquitaine’s flag IRL) .
