Gaster's dad, to be precisedrew this ages ago but an ask got me to dust it off and put on the finishing touches so thank you, cool anon :> (I've changed his facial structure slightly since drawing this bc he looked too much like Gaster OTL)

Wha..? I'm so late to the party and no one else has mentioned the Gaster Blaster just chillin' in the background yet? I remember the cloaked figure that came to visit Gaster in that one flashback. Now I'm wondering if that was dear ol' Ma or someone who works for her. (I suspect a family connection because what we saw of the person seemed to look a lot like Sans, but they might be entirely unrelated. Not that Gaster seemed particularly pleased with his visitor.) As for Daddy dear, he's so visually interesting. He takes all those cues from Gaster and pushes them into a more wild territory. Will be interesting to see what we can learn of him.

I'm glad 'Bats is interesting to look at; the lines for this are pretty old and he still looked a bit too much like Gaster for my taste but I've been attempting to tweak his bone structure and facial features a bit to be more distinctive (and disproportionate, since wonky proportions are meant to be one of his defining traits). Gaster is very old, and 'Bats is almost prehistoric. tbf though, he hangs out in remote desert regions most of the time, so even in more modern times his surroundings are pretty primitive.

You're pretty close yeah! I'd say he's a bit closer to a druid archetype from traditional fantasy than a shaman, but you have the right idea.
