I played the first one- never did finish....I THINK I still have it...- because it reminded me of "ReBoot". I watched the anime for the same reason. It's a very short show, just one season. It's the antithesis of "action-packed", but it DOES hold your attention and get you thinking. Also, the soundtrack is BEAUTIFUL. Think "techno-celtic". ^^
One other thing of note: the Paladin is blue and the Wizardess is green. This amused me endlessly. ^^

Ha! This definitely didn't make it into the show, but it would have been memorable if it did. The figurehead alone would have been worth it. And since by that time ReBoot was out of ABC's hands, it might have happened.
