Description From the Shadowrun book "Tir Tairngire", FASA, 1993
Evidently back in the early 90s, dragons really loved floppies.

The future isn't what it used to be: 3.5" floppies (or maybe it's a Zip disk; remember those?) and handheld devices with buttons instead of touchscreens.

Well, I don't think buttons will ever entirely disappear, especially in cases where you can't look at a screen every second and need to find your controls by feel. But floppies? Yeek.

I do have a drawer full of zip disks, though like my floppies, I no longer have any way to read them...

Although, when you think about it... The latest and most supreme data technology disguised as old technology would be a great security measure in the future....

Now I'm going to have to go find an old floppy set and turn them into a bulk flash drive........

Haha, good point!

I would probably pay good money for a USB drive disguised as a stack of floppies...

now I gave an urge to make that too... Or an SSD that fits in a floppy drive...

You like floppies, dragon? Buddy, you'll love the one I have; it's double density.

Two things come to mind:

One:  Ah, the days when floppy discs could bring about the apocalypse!

Two:  Don't do it, don't, he is a dragon, don't cut the deal...  Aw, too late!

If you take it down taht road ... well, both are zapped. Deal with a dragon? Trust an elf? Two epics in one frame.

Dragons can trust an elf.  To be crunchy and taste good in ketchup.
