www.steampunker.deFully working Steampunk workstation consisting of a computer table, a computer, a monitor, a wireless keyboard and a wireless mouse. The table was build from an old Singer sewing machine. The wood was completely reapplied (the patina retained). Three compartments provide storage space for small items. The PC was installed in an old wooden radio cabinet.

i feel overrun by the comments, so i cant answer every single comment.but yes, every piece is full working. there is a short movie-clip on my youtube-channel. Also there was an TV report that shows how this workstation was made (but in german only).

Ein sehr schönes Radio, aber ich finde dass es nicht neben dem eigentlichen Werk stehen sollte (welches ein eben so hohes Maß an Schönheit besitzt
Übrigens könnten Sie mir bitte verraten was für eine Firma dieses Radio hergestellt hat?
Es tut mir leid dass ich nicht sehr viel über ihr eigentliches Werk sagen kann aber es ist einfach zu schön um in Worte zu fassen.

i had the idea of making something along these lines, but mine was to be powered by a steam engine running a generator linked to a small battery bank as a buffer for when the boiler needed filling.

Ich dachte mir soeben, eigentlich müsste man mit dem Nähmaschinentisch noch einen Van-de-Graaff-Generator betreiben. Dann könnte man mit den Füßen Blitze machen, während man am PC sitzt.
