Because the males are also fighting the buff female wolves, but they are not as skilled or as strong, so they are getting beaten up.

You'd have to read the first comic. But, in a nut shell the reason is thus: Lil Red let's the male wolves live with her and her grandmother, as they come from an abusive fem-dom matriarchal society. The female wolves are upset that their play toys are missing and taken away, and so when they find out who had them, they go and attack Lil red and her Grandmother to get their wolves back. That is the reason for the big brawl. And it is quite a huge and epic brawl! Jorge does some of the best martial arts fighting I've ever seen.
