I recently watched "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" in theatres and it was so damn epic! I love how Akira Toriyama rebooted this character.
While classic Broly was a psychotic and sadistic bastard, he also was a crybaby, hating Goku for something so ridiculous. But after all, he was an impressive fighter and worth to become canon.

Personally, I liked the the original Broly more, since he at least didn't look like a member of Frieza's army. Also, the Legendary Super Saiyan form works quite well with a pure evil Saiyan warrior, considering that Broly's irises are not visible while in that state.
Of course, it is rather amusing how Broly's Restrained Super Saiyan state has his hair colored blue, and yet the Super Saiyan Blue form never existed until the Dragon Ball Super timeline came to existence.

The one thing, that most impressed me (above all the other classic movie villains) is the fact that Broly is a literal born monster. No other villain of the non-canon franchise got a backstory like Broly did and to see, how a little baby avoids his and his father's death while the destruction of planet Vegeta, was one of few things, who showed us, what kind of seemingly limitless power he got. Since in his teenager years he was a serial mass murderer, destroying everything just for fun and even scaring his father Paragus. And i agree to you, that classic Broly (otherwise to his father, who wore something like a Frieza Force armor) got his own style, what marks him "independent".
I only find it lame, why he hates Goku, but that doesn't change the fact, that his pure hatred and evil made him one of the most impressive characters in- and outside the franchise. The other thing is: he returned two times after his initial defeat and everytime he got "weaker". Just battling Gohan, Goten and Trunks in his second coming, no signs of Vegeta or Piccolo to show up and help. And as Bio-Broly just fought against the kids and Android 18. So his best time in my opinion was his first appearance against Goku and the others, where he easily battles agains 5 opponents, who shared all their energy to defeat him.
So just to avoid any misunderstandig: i don't hate classic Broly, just while i'm drawing him as part of this joke. It's true, that i like the new Broly more, but classic Broly is still (and will be) one of my favourite characters. Also i think classic Broly is a bit "more important" to the franchise, because if he wasn't, he never would've been "reborn canon". Also classic Broly is the elder one and more integrated in the franchise, while the new Broly just step into it and even at the end of the movie not really found his place to be.

Both versions are cool. I like classic Broly as well, but sadly he just was created to die. But i'm grateful, that his popularity gave him the chance for his Reboot.
Both Brolys have their good sides. The old one was the most fearsome enemy in a Dragon Ball movie, even frightening the proud Vegeta (long before Beerus can do that). Instead the new one got more character development and a better ending. (Better for him off course)

Indeed. But let's not forget I the games and Manga Broly went so much farther and got Lssj3 Lssj4 and his own God form in the 4D Movie and when Goku, Vegeta Gohan or whoever saw Broly that knew him always thought "Oh Fuck!" Although I am really excited to see where they will take this new Broly.

Das hat mit dem neuen Film zu tun. Der ursprüngliche Broly aus dem Film "der legendäre Super Saiyajin", der einen unbeschreiblichen Hass auf Son Goku hegt, gehörte nicht zum Serienkanon (wie alle Filme vor "Kampf der Götter"). Der neue Film hat ihn in den Kanon aufgenommen, allerdings wurde der Charakter Broly grundlegend (und wie ich finde zum Besseren) geändert.
Es geht in dem Bild also hauptsächlich darum, dass der neue Broly den Platz des alten übernimmt. Ich hoffe es ist jetzt der Ansatz verständlich. ^^

ach so XD Tja ich überlasse das dir, Michael und allen anderen DBZ Fan. Wie gesagt kenne ich nur das alte Dragon ball gut und frag mich echt bis heute, wie die Welt mit goku x bulma aussehen würde...

Both versions have their good sides. Classic Broly was truly a powerful opponent and deserved the fame, that lead to his reboot, but he was just a loud, angry and manical bastard with a stupid reason to hate Goku. The new Broly got a good and well balanced backstory and a much deeper character.
Classic Broly shared the same fate as all the other non-canon villains. He was just made to be hated and killed. So there was a big lack of character development, we only got his main motives: being mean, likes to kill, hates Kakarott.
That's why imo the new Broly is way better.

Indeed! He got so much more character development than his classic counterpart. Also the relationship to his father was much deeper and seemingly kind of abusive (especially with the electric collar). Rebooting him was the best thing that could happen to Broly.
