Description
What started out as a quick nebula speedpainting evolved into something more detailed. Photoshop CS6, Wacom Intous, everything painted except for the planets, I used some textures from CGTextures.com and some NASA pictures for the Citylights.About 6 hours.

Very nice! Though I first thought it was a planet in the formation stage with a large ice sheet over the world. The nebula section and star scape is really nicely done and feels balanced. I like the edge feel you've got by leaving the borders mostly black.
