Description
Wanted to create another enviroment, this time a big swamp. Took me way too long to paint this, about 10 hours all in all. Used a few textures but not much, about 95% is painted from scratch.Please support me on Facebook [link]

So um die 7-10 stunden warens schon, allerdings so richtig gearbeitet nicht mehr als 4 stunden denk ich. Die meiste Zeit hab ich ins Nichts hineingezeichnet, das wieder gelöscht, Perspektive und komposition verändert usw^^

Oh my... won't be going anywhere near this place. Though i would say, it's INCREDIBLE! The vines that crosses the canopy! It's.... enormous!

Erinnert mich sehr stark an "Sanctum" von James Camerron. Aber hast du wirklich sehr gut gearbeitet.

danke dir. Ich habe den Film zwar nicht gesehen, aber Google sagt es sei ein unterwasserfilm. Inwiefern erinnert dich mein Bild denn daran? Wegen der dunkelheit?

Nein nicht deswegen genau. Es geht in dem Film eben darum, dass in einer 100e von Meter tiefe Höhle Höhlentaucher nach einem Ausgang suchen und diese durch das Höhlensystem tauchen um den Anschluss zum Meer suchen und dabei durch einen heftigen Sturm die Höhle geflutet wird, sodass sie gezwungen sind den Ausgang zu finden. Und unter anderem schaffen es die Hauptcharaktere in trockene Höhlensystempunkte vorzudringen die sehr nach deinem Bild aussehen.
Allerdings empfehle ich den Film zum sehen nur, wenn man einen festen Magen hat. Er ist gut, aber wirklich... zumutend.
Trotzdem ein wirklich geniales Bild.

Nice work. Lots of fine details. Love it!
Though, as a tiny bit of critique, I think it would have been better if the light were a bit (just a bit) greener. Just to emphasize that it's a swamp and not some scary dark forest.
Also, little question: at what resolution did you work (before cropping)? I always find that interesting.
