The scene is an original, various public domain and personal refs were used for textures and details
*Update 2018-05-28* tweaked the depth a little and cleaned up some foreground grasses

omg, i hadn't seen anyone else doing farming, just competitions/riding/etc. i'm working on our first comic that's gonna involve plowing right now so i didn't expect to see a pic like this. it looks amazing btw. D:

Yes, I had the idea during equinemarch's call for draft horses, and something medieval, it just seemed to fit

i love draft horses but we ended up not getting to have any in our story lines. :c well we do technically actually, but it's a very small draft breed and the whole glamour of them is the impressive size so it's somewhat disappointing. ;;
