WAY too many flaws in the second pic... half that dude's face is missing... and he's in there twice!

He's not the only one being cloned. I know there's a lot of flaws, but I shot it handheld with my Olympus 770sw, being a tourist among flocks of other tourists, not the best conditions. I shot it as a personnal souvenir, it originaly wasn't supposed to end up as an interactive tour.

Don't let anyone take the dream away from you. Do as I did : wait 'til you're 18, work, save your own money, GO ! (come back, save more etc...)

There are so many tourists, I was wondering if it was actually in Japan XDD"""

Wonderful on the interactive, very cool, quite smooth

stefmixo In reply to Maria-Mika [2011-05-21 15:55:04 +0000 UTC]

I tried as much as I could to wait for the right moment to press the button to have the least people on each pic. They were actually much more than shown here !

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Maria-Mika In reply to stefmixo [2011-05-22 03:56:44 +0000 UTC]

That's good - otherwise there would be so many people that you can't even see the place XDDD"""

I have yet to be in Tokyo, I live in Kansai (east) area - but in Kyoto and Nara, there seem to be more locals, or people from other prefectures visiting than international tourists (although still a lot)

Wow ! What program did you use to create that please I'd love to try it for my own panos !

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

stefmixo In reply to laurentroy [2011-05-21 16:02:17 +0000 UTC]

AutoPano Pro (from Kolor) for stitching and AutoPano Tour for the flash part. "Tour" is installed in bundle with "Pro" but I think you can have it in standalone.
I now use AutoPano "Giga" instead of "Pro" for better memory handling for huge images.

I shot all the pics as quick as I could, rotating in the opposite direction of their walk, to avoid having the same tourists on 2 consecutive pics.
Also waited the right split second to have the least people on each pic, to see the buildings better, but they were everywhere !!

They are tourists, not actors, I couldn't ask them to stand still between 2 shots.
Thanks.
