If comments are enabled I can say what I want as long as it's reasonable. I complimented their work and only said whoever gave the deviation a DD didn't know what they were doing. I personally don't give enough of a shit to go to any further lengths than that.

I could take photo's like this with my mothers camera and a friend to model.
Both definition and lighting aren't exactly too hard to capture.
And then, Ass + Curvature of the Spine <-- DD worthy material, more or less everyday on DeviantART.

Modern art = Throwing colours on a wall and sell it for £4000 saying it has meaning behind it.
This picture is just photography that many people can and have achieved.
DD worthy or not, too many people do it.
It's just another ass, with a different lighting angle for the world to see.
But the reflection on that ass, isn't exactly sending us in any artistic direction.

The modern art comment was in regard to your attitude towards the photo, not the photo itself.
Not all art needs to have some profound deeper meaning to be worthy of recognition. And just because you don't deem a photo worthy of DD doesn't negate the quality of it.
Subject aside (which is what I take to be the issue you have with it) it's a good photo.

I don't take photo's. My mother does. Like I said, I could easily grab her camera, the quality is pretty much the same.
I'm not saying I have and I'm not saying I will take photo's like 'this'.
It's just easy enough accomplish-able. Many people have done this before, even amateurs.

And it's DD worthy.

Just like many people who draw anime, dragons and many other things.
Sculpting is one of the many best pieces of art you can find, since it takes a lot of time and effort.
And with the me no deserving credit for drawing my furry pictures, that's pretty much you talking out of your own arse.
People need to read and get their facts straight.
When it comes to Photography, the best photo's out there is of nature and shots that are hard to get.
This is just plain, get an ass and take a photo of it and it's been done before.

Look at the calmness of the character. The lighting. You can see the fine hair on her legs. the smoothness and roughness of her skin. The fibre of the fabric. This is not a picture of a posterior for the sake of whimsey or sexual desire. This is a photo, a capture of someone not as an item, but as a human. *sips coffee*
