Prothean Reaper War series- Act0: The Birth of a Trollthean 1 ([link] )

I promised to make something out of her OC, Teishen, and Vahana.
Apparently I've gotten too carried away and couldn't finish the story within one strip.
So.... here is episode 1.
This is Vahana and Javik saving Vessala Colony.
Javik is about 18 in appearance at this time.
Teishen (the Prothean lady in white robe) is the Magistrate who oversees the Vessala Colony.
Headcanon fusion:
1. Teishen's mom was a "Voice", which is similar to Emperor/Empresses, so Vahana calls her a cousin.
2. Vahana is passive-aggressive towards her intimate followers/intimate relatives.
3. Vahana lived on Vessala for a while when she was young. Protheans could live for more than a thousand years during peacetime, so the two ladies' age were kinda far apart. Then again, Vahana is immune to show signs of aging...

Aww, forgive Teishen, she haven't been seeing Vahana for like more than 300 years, and Vahana was very less likely to succeed the throne to begin with... Teishen would thought the Empress being her eldest sister... but yeah.

but can i suggest some thing ? it would be nicer if u give Javik some kind of African Warrior type personality becuz in the game his voice and his belief were totally Somalian or some where near there !

He's technically still a teenager at this time (he looks 18, but it's actually something like 16 in prothean equivalent), so he's pretty flexible.

love to see more from him too bad bioware thought of him in the last moments he could have had very big impact to the store line !
i loved it how bioware chosen the African warrior personality for javik in the game those warrior fight would fear without mercy and without feelings but deep inside they have many regrets pains and feeling that eating them from inside

I had some books on my shelf that were biographies and documentaries about the African children who were kidnapped and made into soldiers.
While Javik's case isn't one (in my OC universe), it's very obvious that war can turn children into something they'd never thought of.
And it's really sad just to know the fact that all those crazy stuffs are still going on as we speak.

Oh yes more of these! I really enjoy these small comics involving Javik, he was one of my favorite characters in the campaign and can't wait to play as the Protheans in the upcoming DLC for multiplayer. The way I see it this might as well be considered canon, with Javiks personality this all seems pretty accurate.
And oh god Vahana is just glorious.

I'm having every critical school work cramped up for the end of June and it's like very bad now.
You can tell from the frequency of me posting artworks to see how stressful I am actually right now. (pressure vent don't work anymore)
