Headcanon
Parvani Lumirunda Dis Sumiradda, known to some as "the Turquoise Princess", was Vahana's eldest sister. She was married to the prince of Sumiradda, one of the Nobles families who reigned an Empyrean in the Flarunium Realm.
She was known to be a compassionate queen and was very kind to her servants and people.
She was about the same age as Teishen, the two ladies saw each other as sisters more than cousins, and they both had taken care of Vahana when she was young.
Her position on the Fleet is the Rear Admiral of Aetheria Eclipse.
And no, Vahana looks super badass but she is still a mortal, so she does bleed.

We should just take Vahana and Kalros... and just push them to Earth with a fleet of Thresher Maws. Problem solved.

Well... I wouldn't say it's worse than your case.... like there's seriously no standard to be based on. But I got artblocked for being racially discriminated by a professor in art college during my last year there, and ended up getting into a case of clinically approved depression; had to drop out of school, just couldn't bear the life of seeing my own work ended up being found in the dumpster. I'd wanted to draw, but would almost throw up when picking up a pencil.
Then in 2008 I told myself there's no reason for me to be miserable like this, so I fought back and here I am.
So... I can't agree with you more, I mean, really. Draw for yourself is the ultimate win.

No offences/sadness taken. I've gone through it so it's not something that will hurt me anymore. Just figured to share, life sometimes sucks like hell but if it doesn't kill us, it'll make us stronger.

Yes, really. I see it with people that had art become a chore for them.. when it doesn't bring you any joy anymore.. it's quite sad and empty.
My good friend has that problem, she works in the gaming industry.. but can't draw for herself anymore -__-

It's okay. I was actually kinda restless in talking about it, I know sometimes this would intimidate people in some ways...
I feel really sorry for your friend... 
I strongly recommend you to kidnap your friend and take her to galleries/art museums/zoo/aquarium or any places that has to do with nature, and spend some quality time and do nothing but just indulge and relax. From experience I know what she's been going through... I called it "drained" for my own convenience, and it is very dangerous to a creative mind when he/she cannot create something for himself/herself.
