Description
Tenerife-type Multiple Rocket Launcher
Another vehicle based on the versatile Nadia-type chassis, the Tenerife-type multiple rocket launcher, named after Lord Franklin Tenerife, a Telenese defector of the First Expansion War whose allegiance to the Fairy cause would prove vital to Magisterial victory, replaces the standard turret with 50 launch tubes for O-150-25 Sandblaster rockets. Able to deliver ordnance from up to 85 kilometres from battle, the Tenerife-type MRL is most often used in massed groups in order to thoroughly saturate an enemy area. The Sandblaster rockets most often used can carry warheads of between 40 and 50 kilograms of high-explosives, gas and acid sub-munitions, anti-personnel sub-munitions, anti-tank sub-munitions, or armour-piercing charges for use against enemy bunkers and fortifications. Special-issue rockets can also be equipped with mass-shadow projectors and jammers to confuse enemy anti-air sensors and disrupt enemy communications.
