Finished...Well, probably. I need to decide if I add a orange highlight to the water from her hair. Or if that will destroy the tension between they're not quite touching hands by drawing the eye down. It's almost 4 AM now and I'm too tired to make that decision right now. I'll look at it tomorrow and see if it stands as it is or what.
Gods, I'm tired.

Very touching. The idea of her finding a baby that's not her kind is intriguing. I love your hands. They're shaped excellently and I like how the finger tips are pointed for the anthro and smooth for the baby. And how the baby reaches out for her...I just love that detail.
The surrounding plants are well done too. The values in the greens are very life-like.
Is there a story behind these two? If there is I would love to read it. I am a big fan of seeing Anthros and Humans together and this is such a treat to find.

Remus, Romulus, and Moses too - Actually, you nailed it and chose the right stopping point. Like the others said I think the orange reflection wouldn't have carried out so well.
Are you still doing all right? I'm thinking the season is about done for the two of you again.

Lovely job. I've been able to watch this process unfold with your updated posts of it and had been growing more and more excited for the outcome. I certainly wasn't disappointed.
Personally, I wouldn't add the reflection of her hair. As is, the reflection of the basket in the water draws the eyes to the basket itself, which then allows the eyes to move further upward to the not-quite-touching hands. If you add another reflection in the water, it might take away that particular line, so to speak.
