Description
Finished this last night but forgot to submit it. And I just took some time out to upload it now.I will use the same drawing to complete the Skin and Eyes tutorial as well. For now, it's digital tutorials. (traditional will probablyl be made into videos that I will put on my youtube account.)
Hope this helps and sorry if it's not good enough
Btw, the character is my OC Michiru who I haven't drawn in such a loooong time
Now I got to get back to doing homework
Have a lovely day/evening/night!

Awsome<3 Love the way you do the hair!
But how do I find the "Preserve opacity"? I've been wondering about that thing for ages! ;w; Colouring would go so much faster if I knew. xD

Thanks! Oh that's located above the layers in Paintool Sai. there should be three check boxes that say, Preserve Opacity, clipping group and selection source (well this one is a circle)...anyway Preserve opacity is also right under Opacity on the layers side... lol does that help? :3
oh here's a picture of it so that you can get a better idea: [link] (found it on google lol)

Oh, you use paintool sai. xD I was wondering how to find it in photoshop. 8D;; I know it's possible to do it in PS too, but I have no idea how. OTL;;
Paintool sai, is it recommended? Did you download it from the internett?

Yep :3 In Photoshop it's also above the layers, it's a little grid like square called "lock", just click it and you should be able to shade in only the area that has been colored.
I love Sai it's very easy to make smooth linearts on it and the tools allow me to do softer shading much easier than in Photoshop. Though there's no gradient, burn or dodge tool on Sai. (I don't use them that much anyway but I love the gradient tool when I do backgrounds so I tend to use Photoshop for that.) I still love to use Photoshop to color too though. (Did my most recent pic of InuKag on there ) But yeah I recommend Sai too!
I did download it :3 Look up Easy Paintool Sai on google and you should be able to find it

Thanks so much for this. How I do mines now isn't that different from how you do yours, I just need to focus more detail on the hair shading.

no problem
hehe to be honest I didn't even put too much detail on the hair shading on this one lol So yeah I too got to focus more on doing the individual strands. :3

Well that was certainly interesting. I hadn't thought of locking the original layer and shading it. I use a different layer for each part for mine. I'll definitely give this a try with my current art piece...when I get the initial sketch and inking done. XD

Locking helps soooo much! I loved it when I first stared to use it!
Yay! Tell me if it helps you out when you do so!
