The contrast I used is as we say in German "Simultankontrast"
It is something like an incorrect complementary-colour-contrast so the eye wants to see the complementary colour to fulfil a harmonic image but the offered colour is a bit incorrect not strait on the other side of the circle a few sidewise so it irritates the harmony and that enlarge the impression of saturation
