Yay I finally finished something! 8DFor this month's *ShinXChange I got to draw ~mani-mas 's sci-fi beastie. I started out by cell-shading it, but ended up doing all sorts of different coloring techniques... and I think the ultimate effect worked. Some things about this drawing bug me, like the tail, but I decided not to do it over.
Oh yes. I love shiny things. Shiny things are awesome.

Thanks! >3 That was my intent; it said on the ref that the scales had a pearlescent blue sheen, so I hoped light blue on a color dodge layer would work in that regard.
