They had to add the red stripe to the end of the white part of the latter flags so it wouldn't be confused as a surrender flag.

I sorry, it is a very old item from the period I believe taken from an Envelope or a Post Card. Β It could be used an icon image or something of that nature which is a very nice way to use it. Β

That is what makes it good. Β I don't know who the artist was but I think it is a very old item from off a post card or envelope of the period.
