so here's some designs i did while working on JL: THE NEW FRONTIER DTV.
some execs at WB, at that time, i think were wanting to pitch a CREATURE COMMANDOS cartoon.
i was not really familiar with the comic, and the pitch writing concept was definitely more for kids not really based off the old comic.
anyhoo, i was asked, a long with some other artists, to do some designs for the pitch. i took a pass at the designs, and these two were my favorite and i think most successful from the ones i did, the other ones were not up to snuff, IMO.(which is why i'm not posting 'em)
the pitch never went anywhere(at least for me), and i forgot to voucher for the job, which actually makes me happy now, since i may repurpose the designs and use them myself for one of my own projects.
these are the "frankenstein" character and the "vampire" character.
