Description
An interesting title, though, perhaps not what you think. Without giving anything away, you should all go read Wolverine: Origin by Paul Jenkins, Andy Kubert and Richard (the most awesome!) Isanove. This is actually an artist copy of a panel from the book. I really like painting this way, and I have Julie Dillon's tutorial to thank: [link]Wolverine © Marvel

Pretty cool, now finish it!!! Face is great, I think it would be ten fold better if the rest was a bit more refined.
Anyway, yeah Origin is good no doubt. I think Isanove did a stellar job, though Kuberts art could have been a bit stronger. If only Quesada or Jae Lee would have done that book, would have been one of the best comics of all time. I have all the issues, need to get the trade for easy access HA!

Haha, thanks. These are generally just studies to get better at painting (but yes I should finish one, once in a while). I really didn't mind Kubert's art... I was actually looking at 1602 that he did with Neil Gaiman (in basically the same flavor as Origin) and the art was a little tighter, but Origin's story was just so good that the flaws in the art never bothered me. And yeah, the TPB is where it's at! I keep it next to my bed and pore over each night. It's amazing how 5 years later I can still find new little things that I missed the first 100 times I read it
