Follow up of Can't Escape Raikou: [link]So here's the second one my sister asked me to do, this time it happened to and her Noctowl.

...and to add on to this, Raikou and Entei (in HG/SS) can take damage and fall asleep and reappear later in the exact same condition.
I ran into Entei AND Raikou and put them both to sleep, then gradually whacked their HP down to the red. I could never catch those darned Pokemon, though. It took about ten (if not, less than that) encounters each.
I suppose it's one thing you could use to your advantage when trying to hunt the roaming Pokemon...

it only works in 2nd gen. In later gens you have to use moves like mean look and whirlpoool.

ACTUALLY, Fire-types CAN be frozen, unless they have an ability like Magma Armor or something.

Lol I'm an idiot. Fire types can't be burned, it's the ice type that can't be frozen. Don't know what I was thinking. You can still unfreeze yourself if you used a move like flare blitz.
