Bracket fungi are going to be an important subdivision of the mycological kingdom for Fungus-and-Friends. Many seem to consider them unglamourous compared to the basidiomycete mushrooms that grace most of our pictures, but they are interesting and beautiful in their own right.

Yes, that's what it looks like indeed, but in fact, they are quite hard. They are called 'fairy-benches' in Dutch

Really, I don't think I've seen crafts made with these ones... they are rather hard (woody), aren't they?

They used to stick dried flowers, twigs, rocks and all kinds of little things on them to make miniature landscapes like, it was cute... lol
