Description
This is my entry for the 'Transformation Challenge' competition. As a transformation artist I really had to enter. I hope you like it.
Answers to the competition questions:
1. First a pencil sketch, which I then scanned and finished off in a program called Twisted Brush Open Studio.
2. Hmmm. I'd love to say I spent a long time thinking of something deep and meaningful, such as the transformation of art from traditional methods to digital ones, represented by the paints and the robot respectively..... But as I'm a certain age transformations will forever be linked to Transformers (Other vehicle based robots are available). This lead to the pun style name, which lead to me drawing a robot made from a box of paints.
3. I'm not sure. Probably 6 or 7 hours from blank page to what you see before you. That's split over several evenings.

Thanks very much. ^^
Three panels isn't really enough for a good TF.
If I was creative I'd have made better use of the space and done something like this: Chasing my tail

Wow. You came and had a look. I didn't even put a link in that comment.
You're an artist I admire very much, so your comment means a lot.
Thank you very much.

Heh. Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it.
I do a lot of transformations, but not many in such a small number of stages.
I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.
