NOTE! Offical wallpaper found here [link]I wasn't planning on posting this at all, I just wanted a new wallpaper that looked something like this so I finished it and said "What the hell"
Stock photos used for the base of it, then some more stock photos used for the people and the birds, then the planets and stars I made.
I made this cause I can't wait to go up north this year, its going to be sweet.
I hope I can take cool pictures like this when I am up there.

Awesome composition! I agree about the birds though! They look like they are flying totally in sync (unnaturally). Just a minor detail, but worth mentioning. Otherwise, excellent colors, shadowing, etc. ... Yeah high tide is gonna be a b****!

But i still got a problem with the birds, they r too similar (you ve copy n pasted ?)...
exept that s this pict is nice . the color set / saturation are very well done.

Beautiful *_* realistic enough to be incredibly vivid and convincing, while still maintaining the fantasy the speaks to the subconscious. I love the atmosphere, colours and textures... and especially the way the planets are there against they sky, and how the large one fades ^_^ I also love the way the nightsky, or even space, and the sunset truly seem to compliment each other, forming a cohesive ambience. Beautiful *_*

the atmosphere you've created is beautiful, and i love everything about this piece, except for one thing: the birds. they look much too big, and you can really tell that you used the same stock photo for all of them. they look flat and unrealistic, and take away from the beauty of the rest of the piece.

good colours...
for me, the picture would be more interesting, more natural with 6 differents birds.
because 6 birds that are heading exactly in the same direction, and having exactly the same wing beat rythm at the same time... that just feels artificial.
maybe that's what you wanted?

this is so gorgeous and tranquil! certainly put s the DTF's back in their place seeing that they're going downhill lately and reminds devinats what art is all about once again

Nice work! looks really good, nicely blended and great concept, but it looks like the same planet/moon/satellite three times (that's been picking , i know, sorry). But it gets a fav anyway, cause it does look good!
