Description
This is a V2 of The Impact, I added more effects, I tryed to make it look like the planet was cracking but it looks ok, any advice or suggections on other effects please tell me.Enjoy

Wow, this is an excellent wallpaper. The impacts look very strong and powerful and the light looks very nice, using black and white really sets it off too. Great job.

very powerful, strong piece. these impacts look great. these effects around them too. excellent job do you create these starmaps in the background by hand? photoshop or so? would be interesting what technique yuo use.

I love the contrasts of tones, the explosive look to this, nice lines and movement, the whiteness patterns against the sphere, nice work, beautiful.

i agree the cracks seem different... they look more like they are reaching out from the blast, but a valiant effort. Well done still.
Also, the shockwave doesnt seem right, something about it, maybe too flat, i dont know. O_o
Not enough color in my opinion, with color and what not this could have been better. In my opinion.
Good idea though, having more than one explosion.
I say add some colors, more detail, you thought there was enough? there's not, make it insanely elaborate.
A beam shooting through a planet would be cool.
Fix the problems up and it'll kick more ass, ill fav it for now though.

The cracking seems like it was created on a two dimensional plane rather than a three dimensional sphere. Also you could have intense burning debri in the upper atmosphere and dust clouds. When I first saw this it looked like the planet was getting hit by three objects. The impact shockwave is also too planar.

I've had the same wallpaper for about the last 4 months... this replaced it.

Whoa thats pretty nice so far, i like how the debris and power of the impact is shown. Maybe you could make the cometelongated to show the speed of it.

Brilliant job. I agree, spherize would help the cracking a great deal. Also, the shockwave on the left side seems out of place. See if you could get it to wrap the planet as well, or try bluring it a little more at the edges. The debris flying off the planet is perfect, and has a great look of motion to it. Good use of motion blur. Also, it's not like some pictures where the debris only comes in one size, you've got dust here as well as giant pieces and glowing debris. Excelent job.

I agree with Shirosynth, The cracks could use a lil more work. Other than that, that is SUPERB work! All of the effects make the piece so interesting.

The cracks dont seem like they "wrap" the planet. If you did these in photoshop, it would be a good idea to try the "spherize" filter which will give the cracks a more like its wrapping the planet.
Other than that, everything is well done.
