Description This didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted, but at the same time I think it looks cooler that what I had imagined. I really learned a lot by experimenting with all these different colors. On to next piece!

Inspired by Messier 17

Painted with the programs Photoshop and Sai.
(I get asked this a lot, yes I painted it from scratch. Base texture and stars with Photoshop. Lots of detailing with Sai. No I did not put any shapes in here on purpose.)

PS because it's a powerhouse with tons of different options.Β  Sai for it's ability to blend super fast and easily.Β  However, I now use Manga Studio instead.Β  It is able to blend just as quickly, if not faster, and it has way more features and most importantly is more stable.Β  : )
