I did this about a month ago but have been holding off on showing it until today since this commission was for a client's girlfriend's birthday.The two Shepards up front are her custom characters in Mass Effect 2 and their love interest by their sides with other members she always used on the team.
The female Shep took the paragon path and obviously the male Shep took the renegade, hence the color split down the middle. This piece ended up being a 24"x36" print. Kudos to Daniel for putting a lot of thought into his girlfriend's gift. He even had to sneak around to get in game screen shots off her computer of her custom Sheps while she wasn't there.

And I am the one who along with Steve's amazing talents thought of this for my fiance (kristy008). Steve, thanks for making my Birthday present to my fiancΓ© an amazing one!! It now hangs proudly in a beautiful black and silver frame in our living room in all itβs huge 24 x 36 glory!!. It is utterly amazing how you drew Kristy's Shepard's (Along with everything else) and as I said to you in our emails, your Garrus is just f'king amazing!!
Oh and my wallet curses you. Now she wants a Mass Effect 1 based poster & a future Mass Effect 3 done lol. You and I have created a monster!!!! I will be in touch for the next project in the next 2-3 months, this time one for me with my Custom female Shepard and her love interest - Liara as discussed. Just have to decide how I want it to look and then we can get to work!!

I am the person for whom this piece of art work was commissioned. It was a complete surprise and I was in absolute shock and awe by its ability to capture my memories of playing Mass Effect 2. My fiancΓ© (Daniel) had a vision of this picture, and knew how much I loved both of my Shepards, and kept true to playing them as either Paragon or Renegade, hence his decision to do the split. He also included the two team mates I used probably 90% of the time while playing each character, and took screen shots of all the weapons and armour I used during the game. He also spent much time trying to find an artist that could bring to life this image, and capture it in a way that was true to the game, and I believe Steve has achieved that without a doubt. From what I have seen of Steveβs work he is a talented artist and it is obvious this beautiful piece is but one example of that. I am such a lucky women to have a thoughtful and loving man in my life who thinks outside the box and gives such amazing giftsβ¦.
This is the best birthday gift ever!
