Commission Art for 's original fan fiction character "Andromeda" in the Mass Effect Universe.This particular piece is the artwork for a chapter she's working on. Description from Xenowriter
Andromeda is a C-Sec Officer. She learns of the death of Sidonis and goes out to find the murderer which ends up being Garrus. She confronts him on ilium while he's there on a mission with Shepard. Garrus and Andromeda have a past history where they both care about each other but never acted on the feelings.
Garrus is outraged about her investigation and he feels justified for what he has done. When she confronts him, words lash out and then anger takes over and he grabs her neck against the wall and glares at her. That's the scene I want. Basically waist up with focus on their faces. Garrus' hand will be around her neck and fire will be in his eyes. Andromeda will have a look of shock and fear.

Thanks I hope you did! The story progressed more with my character was I got into the last series. The one I'm currently I'm working on was in hiatus and i'm starting that back up next month!

hm... this is a really really awesome picture. really detailed. just kinda thrown a bit off because of Garrus' eyes. they look green when they are supposed to be like an ice blue. im not sure though, it could just be the lighting in this picture. overall though, its really great, the orange eye-piece is nice too. its usually blue but i like it this color xD brings out his markings better i think. anyways, cant wait to see more from you. im gonna keep an eye out. :3

Your gallery is so gorgeous! I love Shepard's expression here--very...realistic in its uncertainty. It doesn't look like a hero pose, but rather like a snapshot.
Dare I ask how much a commission like this costs?

Thank you I appreciate it! It's actually Andromeda, she's a C-sec officer. I don't think Garrus would grab Shepard like that. 
I try to go by a template on commissions but I tend to work with people's budget and try to give them more than what we agreed on. This one was supposed to be a close up scene of just their faces without a background so I added a few details to it.

Wonderful job! Even though I'm not a huge fan of mean/evil versions of Garrus, I like this piece. Somone get this Garrus a sedative and fuzzy blue blankie stat!

I appreciate constructive crits because the art process is an ever learning one, such is life no? There are the people that have nothing good to say and only want to push you down rather than lift you up, you don't fall into this category my friend. Awesome custom brushes...so many to choose from really but I usually just end up using just a handful. A lot of my texturing comes from cgtextures.com. I'll overlay with a very lower opacity on the grundge stuff they have. Definitely worth the membership fee for the quality of references you get to download.
