I've been playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 lately and for me it's been one of the best games I've played in a long while. I really like the team of misfits concept because that will pretty much cater to just about anyone...someone will find at least one character they like and can relate with. One of my favorites was Tali'Zorah. Was it because of her abilities? No for me it was the fact that she is the most selfless character in the game and even though you never see her face because of the suit she has to wear, it doesn't take much to see through the mask to find something beautiful.There's always discussion about what she would look like without her mask, this is my contribution. I based it on what little you can see while she's wearing it.

I imagine the lower half of her face being more Turian-y (same dextro-DNA, so I think they'd be similar) but I like this concept.

Oh really? Where was the DNA information revealed? In ME1? I've only played ME1 twice but I bet if I went through it again I'd see stuff I missed.

you know, I don't remember exactly where they said it, but I'm positive its canon based on the relationship dialog in ME2.

Thank you I appreciate it. It's funny but I think more people over here on DA like this than the fan club on Bioware forums. Understandable though, the die hard fans of Tali already imagine what she looks like in their own mind. It's a tough call for Bioware to remove her mask in 3 I think. But we can't keep everyone happy can we?

The thing is I really dislike it when people do something completely off with her, like giving her too much hair, making her look like a human. If you're born and live in a suit you wouldn't have much hair.

This is true about the no hair thing. It's similar to when people (for guys anyway)wear socks a lot, the hair on their legs will stop right where the top of the socks usually rest. Or guys that wear tight jeans a lot, they wont have much hair on their legs.
I would imagine long flowing hair in a helmet would be quite annoying.

I feel sorry for bioware. No matter what they do there will be a huge outrage to follow.
If they reveal the face then there will be many who won't like it. If they don't then there will be many who will demand it revealed.

Awww dang it....and we have one that disagrees! EVERYONE must like this version...EVERYONE! LOL I kid I kid. Actually I like your idea because I would imagine if anyone had to live in a suit their entire life their skin pigment would be quite pale almost translucent I bet.
Yeah no kidding I think they're best approach is to keep her hidden because even if they did reveal her someone somewhere wouldn't like her. Can't keep everyone happy in a diverse world.

Actually I'd prefer to see her face, because no matter how disappointing it will be, I will be more disappointed if I don't see it. I already been in a murderous rage mode at the end of ME2, don't need to repeat it.
She got glowing eyes, that suggests evolution from nocturnal animals. Pale skin pigment would be the result of that. Then it is confirmed that Quarians use cybernetic augmentations, that would suggest borg-like physiology to lesser extent. Not to mention that Grunt says they are tougher than humans.
Apart from that, I guess their face would look pretty much human-like. There's of course the difference in body anatomy - different structure of limbs. Though I always wanted to have quarian-like legs - better capabilities.
I wish I knew how to draw, or do anything else artsy, I'd show you how it's done

LOL murderous rage, that made me laugh. I can picture it though....commander shepard begins to remove her mask (queue dramatic music), GanDeeva swells with anticipation but then the camera immediately goes to the back of Tali's head. WHAT??? WHAT???? *Throws mouse at screen*
