I've been playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 lately and for me it's been one of the best games I've played in a long while. I really like the team of misfits concept because that will pretty much cater to just about anyone...someone will find at least one character they like and can relate with. One of my favorites was Tali'Zorah. Was it because of her abilities? No for me it was the fact that she is the most selfless character in the game and even though you never see her face because of the suit she has to wear, it doesn't take much to see through the mask to find something beautiful.There's always discussion about what she would look like without her mask, this is my contribution. I based it on what little you can see while she's wearing it.

Very humanoid, especially the eyebrows. But then again it's what everyone is wishing and hoping for.

Yeah more alien-ish would've been neat but I kept thinking in the romance scene with Commander Shepard she kissed him like a human would and later on she mentions that her sinuses were congested which would suggest a nasal cavity..plus you can see the tip her nose against the mask. Too many things point to humanoid I think.

Yeah I had thought about making her more alien like but I sat there and looked really hard from all angles while in the game and she has too many human like features. ( Aside from her hands and feet)
