The hood reminds me of the Assasin Hoods, and one of the background mountains has outlines like a stone giant. and oddly enough looking at the lion makes me hungry for steak.

Interesting fact is that a branch of the Barbary lion family actually came quite close to this size, unfortunately it died out around 500 AD and they have not found enough remains to determine if it really was a separate species on it's own.

Haha no doubt! Did you ever see that footage of the guy that climbed into the lion exhibit at the zoo and started preaching to the male lion? Needless to say I think the guy was having a nervous breakdown or something but it definitely put it in perspective how big those cats really are.
