Description
'The Loss'A person that loses someone close to them can be surrounded by friends and family with never ending support and still feel completely a lone. Their world crumbles and they're set adrift with no sense of direction and purpose. They simply go through the motions each day until something makes sense to them or when they find their hope and purpose again.

I know this to be true... when my mom passed, this describes what I felt. Thank you for sharing and for the amazing work.

This is very cool, but it seems to elicit an entirely different reaction in me. Β It feels more like a mystical, ecstatic dream. Β A little frightening, yes, with the vastness and the depths and the endless gulfs. Β But frightening more in the way one would talk about the 'fear of God' rather than plain prosaic fright. Β And it doesn't feel directionless, rather, one is pulled in all directions at once. Β Actually, it's really awesome.

Wow. WOW! Amazing job. This piece is spectacular. Such a cold, lonely setting and yet the piece feels... strangely intimate.

I feel every emotion possible in this. That i feeling of isolation, vastness and being adrift is really there. This is STUNNING.

Beautiful. I love the cosmos and how it looks, but it can be vast and feel unending, which can make you feel very alone and insignificant. But we are part of that vastness, and once you grasp that, I personally feel that we belong a little bit more. You can compare some of that to how you feel after the loss of a loved one.

I appreciate that, thank you. Yeah I know what you mean, I heard a guy say one time "Sometimes I feel I'm too big for this world" and the guy standing next to him said "Oh yeah? Take a look up into the sky at night and let me know if you still feel the same way".
