Description Oooohhhh, look at them! The handsome aloof tragic prince of Castlevania and the beautiful brooding cursed orphan of Bloodstained. What a horrible night to have such cursed beauty. You feel sorry for the cute boy and lovely girl simply because you want to be inside them or maybe you want them inside you!

This started near the end of Koji Igrashi's Kickstarter project Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, the spiritual successor to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night but without Konami breathing down Iga's neck like a vampire 'cus fuck Konami. I made the characters in early July but only got back to making everything else a few days ago because creator's block. The title was inspired by some of the music from SotN and RotN.

I hope you guys can identify all the ones in the stainedglasses.

Your background is absolutely amazing. I love the stained glass you have there.Β

I will say that the more forward person looks like he has an exceptionally large third leg, needing its own special pocket lol. Either way good work.Β

That third leg you're talking about? For some reason, I feel a few good male game characters happen to have middle legs for weird reason but I can't my finger on it.

It's more because it curves upwards, if you keep it curving downward into the other leg it doesn't seem as third leggyΒ

That said, I mean female video game characters are usually pretty sexy looking so they had to put something in for the ladies lolΒ

Well I believe if there's gonna be half-naked women, there should be some half-naked dudes as well because equal opportunity objectification is far more profitable.

Konami would go on a copyright rampage if they saw your comment and aren't making money off it.

I actually kinda hope the game is build over Order of ecclesia more than Symphony of the night

Apparently laters Igavanias were a bit smaller than SotN but Bloodstained will have the biggest castle ever. I definitely want to get Order of Ecclesia though, no doubt about it.

the problem in that is:
for how much variety they will be able to design, the castle will always be a single building with only a "limited" variety. you can redo a room in infinite ways, but it will always stays a room.

I love Symphony of the night, do not get me wrong, but the last two DS Castlevania games did the good thing at trying to add variety and other locations.
Portrait of Ruin did it in a "stupid-ish" way (and they repeat) but some of areas looked great (the city and the academy or something like that, it helps that they had a lot of 3d stuff in them) but Order of Ecclesia takes the crown by giving you a lot of varied areas...
sure, they are more linear and short, but that is easy to resolve, and the more open ended game-play with secondary quests was good.
the art style of Ecclesia is great, and much better than the two "anime" designed castlevania before.

I doubt Iga isn't gonna ignore other Igavanias he did after SotN. I'm sure he'll have locations outside whatever castle will be in Bloodstained. As for the artstyle, well just look at the new game. It's gorgeous and doesn't look like generic anime.

well, Iga knows what he is doing... he is pretty much the only guy who knows what he must do in that game together with the team who did Metroid zero mission
