Description
My official entry for the contest being held by Rift and DA.I tried going for a humanoid being with a gaunt and sickly looking features being something from the realm of death. To combat it's frail looking exterior I decided that a menacing furnace of broiling arcane magic flowing through it would make it not only physically powerful, but also capable of casting earth-shattering spells.
I had a great experience while making this and learned a lot in the process.
Good luck to everyone who entered! I've got my fingers crossed because there are a lot of great entries!

Very interesting, kinda abstract thing. Reminds me of something you'd see in an Evengelion monster (and that's a compliment). I like the abstract look for the death and Rift theme, and it's also fitting that he has the large blade arm, almost reminiscent of a guillotine... kinda.

I thought the bladed arm could swing across the battleground and do massive damage to those unfortunate to get caught by it!

Yeah, you definitely caught that in its design; that's exactly what it looks like it'd be doing. Ah, cool. You definitely got a similar design style as Evangelion with the abstract look.

Great stuff!! I get a sense of how massive this guy is because of the atmosphere between his legs (or ozone, whatever you call it when things get bluer as they get further away).
My fav part is the head, or at least were the head should be, very creative.
