Description

This is a story I started writing back when we were actively engaged in the Epona Project. It takes place long before Humans traveled to the Taranis system, during what could be called the Uthers' "pre-industrial period". As you will see, I never finished, unfortunately. I kept being more interested in illustrating it, and spent most of my time working on the artwork. And then the project ended, and I never really got back into it.

Basically, the plot is about a clan who are trying to survive the cutthroat politics of their social system. They are designated outlaws (in the strict sense of the word: being outside of the law), and have to fight to survive as all of the other nearby clans absorb their territory, take their possessions, and exterminate them because they have no legal standing.

It was also an exercise in trying to portray their linguistic system and syntax. I used colored text to help readers remember which characters belong to which clan.
