No, I'm from the U.S., the closest I get to being Russian is that I'm a quarter Polish...which, at the time my grandparents left it, may have been part of Russia lol...not sure on my dates there.

that beast you drew look a lot like something from Russian mythology
and the way you draw the tree's u only saw such detail in Russian cartoons

You see that type of beast in Viking art as well, I think allot of the northern countries shared styles.
I'm not very familiar with Russian cartoons, but I do really like the Russian painters from the 19th century...the art world really needs to recognize that period of Russian art better.

This is very cool! I recently finished reading about the "gripping beast" from Norse art so it's neat to see something like this. : D
