Description
A friend asked me to draw this for him.That's Psylocke (Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock) of the X-Men with her psychic knife. Created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe and is owned by marvel comics.
The dudes on the ground are guards of the Hellfire Club.

Very nice job, my friend. She's just as she should be, the pose is well executed and your foreshortening is top-notch. Also, unlike so many of the artists that draw her in the books these days, you made her look asian without looking "evil".

Thank you! It seems that I've pleased some real psylocke fans by making sure she looked asian. I'm happy that you guys noticed that. I was looking at a number of psylocke art on DA before I started drawing and I noticed that although she is definitely asian in appearance, very few artists paid it any mind. I was a bit disappointed, actually,because most of the works are FANTASTIC otherwise.

Yeah, after Clairmont did his patented "Clairmont" thing to Exiles. I swear, it seems like marvel intentionally puts that guy on books they wanna cancel. Anyways, feel free to colour it!

Yeah he hasn't done to well over the last few years (like those stupid Neo characters he created) but at least it looks like Psylockes finally coming home and thanks so much for letting me colour it, i'll let ya know when i've finished it.

I actually liked the Neo's look. It was the characters themselves that annoyed me. A new hidden race of mutants?? That's beyond stupid.

She's awesome. You drew her face really nice. Psylocke was my girl in the 90's. Always had her ass hanging out. Do you know what that can do to a kid reading comics? Even in the snow, she wore a jacket, but her ass was hanging out. I blame her for my over-active hormones back then. She's the reason why I'm still searching for an Asian woman with an English accent.

Mentioning English, her origin was a bit fucked up. The whole thing about being a ninja and getting her brain or whatever switched was just too much. Other than that, I love her.

Oh yeah! Psylocke was definitely Marvel's definition of sexy back in the 90's! Forget White Queen. Betsy ran around on missions in a onesie, for heavens sake! And yeah, her origin was indeed confusion as hell. Everytime i tried to bring up the term "seige perilious" to a newbie, they looked at me as if I was seriously wacked.
